Sennhütte Mountain Guesthouse
The Sennhütte mountain guesthouse is located at Strahlegg, below the Schnebelhorn, which is the highest mountain of Canton Zurich.
In the middle of nature
Arriving at 1028 meters above sea level: Stay a while in the restaurant or on the terrace and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The surroundings are marked by conglomerate rock and wild forests and if you are lucky you might even spot chamois, deer and wood grouse.
Enjoy fine rustic dishes, homemade from noon to evening. Fresh cakes and delicious coffee will be served. Sennhütte has a dining room for about 40 people. In fair weather, you are served on the sunny terrace. Bread and cake are baked fresh every day. Wherever possible, food is sourced from the immediate vicinity and local producers.

Accommodation
Arrive and stay – spend the night at Sennhütte. Relax in silence and nature, without television or mobile reception. Either in dormitories and classic log cabin style or at one of the two cosy double rooms. Enjoy a delicious dinner far away from the city and village and get spoilt with a rustic breakfast in the morning. Families with children are more than welcome at Sennhütte. A baby cot and child seat are provided.

Friday to Sunday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., in summer and good weather until 10 p.m.
