Marvel at the unique and impressive LIPSI art collection and get a fascinating insight into the world of the artist couple Morice Lipsi and Hildegard Weber-Lipsi.

Museum for amateurs and art connaisseurs

The LIPSI collection presents the French estate of the Paris studio of the sculptor Morice Lipsi (1898 – 1986) and his wife Hildegard Weber-Lipsi (1901 – 2000). Discover sculptures, designs, reliefs, and many more by Morice Lipsi. Hildegard Weber-Lipsi's oil paintings, watercolours, drawings, carnival masks, and stick puppets are on display.

Internationally known artist couple

After the Second World War, Morice Lipsi was one of the important sculptors of abstract, monumental stone sculptures and a much sought-after sculptor of public space with commissions throughout France. His wife regularly participated at the «Salon des Réalités Nouvelles» and exhibited her paintings in galleries in France, Germany, Israel, Japan, and Switzerland. 

Personal tour by the Beck-Lipsi family

The permanent exhibition in Hadlikon is open for everybody and will certainly inspire you. The descendants of the artist couple themselves will guide you through the collection: Gabriella Beck-Lipsi, daughter of Morice Lipsi as well as Hildegard Weber-Lipsi and her husband Hans Jacob Beck. You can visit the collection every Saturday and Sunday. A visit on another day of the week is possible upon request.
