Maur Castle
This was the residence of the Zurich engraver and publisher David Herrliberger as court authority from 1749 to 1775. Discover the Herrliberger collection with the exhibition of his prints. The Salomon gallery is located on the first floor with works by Salomon Landolt and Salomon Gessner and the art chamber with changing exhibitions.
The engraver workshop is in the basement - why don't you give it a try - and the printing workshop of the Gutenberg guild.

Maur sawmill
The sawmill of the year 1778 features a reconstructed overshot water wheel that is always operating on Swiss Mill Day, i.e. Saturday following Ascension Day. Moreover, there is an archive with documents and graphical material.
