Railway Collection in Uster

Model railway layouts on a scale of 0m and 0 as well as I/IIm and a selection of exhibits show important aspects of railway technology and history on the second floor of the Lokremise in Uster. A great experience for young and old!

The foundation of the Railway Collection Uster is a synthesis between historical building ensembles, museums and operational model railroad systems. Focus is the model on a scale of 0 and 0m as well as I and IIm. As an addition to the layouts, the exhibition shows different models: many are self-made and small series models as well as various original railway objects. The exhibits are presented in a stylish setting at the depot of the former “Glatttalbahn“ built in 1856/57. Please check out the website for current public guided tours.
