Alp Schindelberg Mountain Restaurant

Maya and Heiri Lienhard-Kundert welcome their guests from April to November in a cosy atmosphere with a great view and homemade food.

Every year from June to September, 90 to 100 cows from various regional livestock farmers graze on Alp Schindelberg. Their ascending to and descending from the alp depends on the weather and the amount of food and grass available. A group of Scottish Highland cattle, goats or sheep also spend the summer on the alp.

The Alp Schindelberg restaurant was renovated in 2017/2018 and welcomes hiking groups, families and bikers to stay.

“Homemade“
is what visitors shall remember from their stopping by. Delicious pear bread, homemade bread and fresh custard squares are only a few of the treats that are made by Maya and Heiri Lienhard-Kundert for their guests. Meat is from their own animals or neighbouring farms to guarantee and trace back animal welfare. The menu features traditional culinary highlights and is completed with additional varied and seasonal dishes. Be surprised by the cosy atmosphere. We are happy to provide menu suggestions for groups of 12 people upon request.

The newly renovated Alp Schindelberg restaurant and its barn offer group accommodation.
